I started my athletic journey later than most when I began playing hockey at age 19! From there I went on to become a hockey referee. A few years later, I began attending group exercise classes at a local gym and it wasn't long before I became an instructor there. On my first day walking in to join a CrossFit gym, I told the owner that my 1-year goal was to be a CrossFit Trainer. Within my first year there, I made that goal a reality! I have always been driven to learn as much as possible about the technique and skills required in order to maximize efficiency and results. I love being able to share what I have learned with others to help them achieve their best results, too.
The thing that appealed to me most about CrossFit was the mindset of continuous growth and self-improvement. This has proven to be true over the course of my 10-year journey with CrossFit, and I am still striving to keep improving as both a coach and athlete.
I love coaching athletes at all levels of their fitness journey. I am motivated to help others improve their lives by providing the knowledge I have and applying it to their experiences. I always strive to ensure that athletes feel confident and engaged as we go through a class or training session.
